Prepare the wall behind the bed to attach your home-made mirrored canopy bed panel. Clean the nails or screws area, and disconnect or chop any electrical fixtures that may be in the way. Measure the width of your bed and the plan for your bedside should be at least as wide as the width of the bed and no more than two or three inches on either side of the head of the bed. If the wall is ugly, paint or retouch any areas that require attention.
Depending on the importance of your home-made mirrored canopy bed, you must plan appropriately to hang it. Antique or antique look mirrors make beautiful bedside tables. If you find one that is big enough on your own, mount it on the wall behind your bed for a Victorian appeal. If it’s a big piece but not big enough to be a bedside, find complementary smaller mirrors to hang on each side of it. Make sure that heavier of the mirrors are hung on a stud, as it could pose a threat to safety, if only attached to the plaster. Drill a hole in the stud. Put a butterfly anchor and screw in a mirror hanger. This will ensure that your mirrored bed sheet remains on your wall and does not end up in your bed.mirrored canopy bed
